Shipping Policy

True Karoo delivers nationwide within South Africa. Delivery is included in the price of every order.

How it works

After placing your order, we will contact you within 24 hours to confirm your delivery date. All lamb is blast-frozen and shipped in insulated packaging designed to keep the product frozen in transit.

Delivery windows

We run three delivery cycles per year. Orders are dispatched in batches, not individually. Your confirmed delivery date will fall within the current cycle's dispatch window.

Receiving your order

Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive the box. The product must be transferred to a freezer immediately upon arrival. We cannot be held responsible for quality issues caused by delays in storing the product after delivery.

Storage

Our lamb is vacuum-sealed and blast-frozen at peak freshness. When stored at -18°C or below, it keeps for up to 12 months.

Delivery areas

We deliver to all major metros and most towns across South Africa. If we are unable to deliver to your area, we will notify you and issue a full refund.
