By placing an order through truekaroo.za you agree to the following terms. Please read them before purchasing.

1. About Us

True Karoo is a South African online retailer selling frozen lamb products sourced from the Great Karoo. All orders are processed and fulfilled within South Africa.

2. Products & Availability

We sell a limited number of boxes across three sales per year. Product availability is shown on the product page. We reserve the right to limit quantities, cancel orders, or discontinue products at any time. All product images are representative — natural variation in cut size and weight is expected.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT. Delivery is included in the listed price. Payment is taken at the time of purchase. We accept credit card and EFT payments. We are not responsible for any additional fees charged by your bank or payment provider.

4. Delivery

We deliver nationwide within South Africa only. After placing your order, we will contact you within 24 hours to confirm your delivery date. Deliveries are made in insulated packaging to maintain product quality. You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery and transfer the product to a freezer promptly. We are not liable for product quality once the delivery has been received.

5. Returns & Refunds

All sales are final. Due to the nature of frozen meat products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds. In exceptional circumstances, a refund may be issued at our sole discretion provided the order has not yet been dispatched. Contact us before your order ships to make a request.

6. Product Quality & Liability

Our lamb is blast-frozen and vacuum-sealed for freshness. Product lasts up to 12 months when stored in a freezer at -18°C or below. We are not liable for any quality issues resulting from improper storage after delivery. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price of the product.

7. Privacy

We collect your name, email, phone number, and delivery address to fulfil your order. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to process payment and deliver your order. For queries, contact us directly.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
